Masonry mortars MM Н6-Н24 are used for the construction of wall structures of artificial stone products (bricks, burnt clay hollow bricks, gas concrete blocks, etc.). The mortars have to comply with the workability requirements and must be suited to the type of structure and its operating conditions.
Masonry mortars supplied by HOUSE BETON LLC are produced at our batching plants according to special formulations with observance of all proportions and process requirements. Due to specific features of conventional mortars, builders used to order several small deliveries of mortar per day. Because of the extended workable life achieved through the use of a unique formulation developed by HOUSE BETON, you can now order a single delivery per work shift for your construction project, thus saving both money and time.
The choice of the masonry mortar type, grade, and mix ratio depends on the material to be laid, the type of structure, and the required thermal conductivity of the walls. Our managers are ready to provide personal professional advice on choosing the concrete mix to suit your exact needs and your budget. And our highly qualified laboratory technicians will select the raw materials and develop a tailor-made mix recipe for applications of any complexity level. We guarantee high quality of our masonry mortars plus delivery to your construction site.
The concrete grade is designated by an alphanumeric code (for example, M-100),which denotes the ultimate compressive strength expressed in kilograms per square centimetre. A higher value means a greater amount of cement in the composition. The grades range from M-50 to M-1000, while the most popular grades are between 100 and 500. The higher the strength grade, the stronger, more frost-resistant and more durable the concrete.
Today, design specifications often define the class of concrete mix, which shows properties of the mix more precisely. The class of concrete mix denotes the permissible deviation from the mix quality. It shows the strength value obtained for an actual sample while the grade shows the estimated strength only. The class of concrete is marked with the letter ‘B’, and ranges from 3.5to 80. Classes B7.5 to B40 are used in domestic construction.
M50 cement mortar grade falls into the category of common mortars. It is used for preparatory works, construction of floor screeds, closing of cracks and chips, brick walling.
M75 is a cement mortar grade, which is suitable for finishing walls made of high strength materials. It has high adhesion to mineral surfaces and ensures a reliable and strong connection between building blocks and the plastered surface.
M100 is a cement mortar grade. It is mainly used for masonry and plastering works, as well as for the construction of cement floor screeds.
M150 is a cement mortar grade. It is used in the installation and plastering works, for connection of separate plaster elements of a building into a single solid structure, filling gaps between large pre-cast elements during their installation, finishing walls and ceilings, as well as for pouring floor screeds.
M200 is a versatile high strength mortar, which is suitable for masonry and levelling works, constructing concrete screeds, beams, stairs, perimeter pavements, pouring footpaths, etc. Strength performance ofM200 suffices most of the tasks in the domestic construction sector.
P - is the mobility index of the mixture. P8 - is a highly mobile mixture used for conventional rubble masonry, hollow brick and stone masonry, installation of large concrete panels and blocks, and facing works
