If all technological requirements are met and the proportions are precisely adjusted, fine aggregate concrete will not be inferior in terms of performance characteristics to ordinary heavyweight concrete. The absence of large pieces of aggregate in the mix allows for a more dense and structurally homogeneous mass during hardening of the concrete.
